The Operational Assessment is the first phase of Gourmet Tree consulting services

The purpose of the Operational Assessment is to perform an evaluation of the restaurants concept, products, level of service, operating systems and financial performance to identify problem areas, consider profitability potential, and to set a course of direction to attain the desired objectives. The Assessment includes concept assessment, facility evaluation, product valuation, an overview of concept definition, and financial analyse. Gourmet Tree may suggest a more detailed investigation in certain areas that have raised concern.

The scope of the Operational Assessment is of a general nature. It is an opportunity for the team to experience your operation first hand and become familiar the organization and the culture of the food service operation. Includes a facility, product, an overview of concept definition, management and staff, administration systems and a financial analysis.

Gourmet Tree will generate an Operational Assesment Report that will describe the findings. The report will include a prioritized list of recommendations on strategies to address the objectives. Gourmet Tree may suggest a more detailed investigation in certain areas that have raised concern.

Gourmet Tree will work with the operator and the management team to plan and implement the other phases of our consulting services to attain the desired performance and profitability objectives.
